Q2. How secure is my account information?

A2.  All transfers of scanned images, account files, statements, checks  etc as well as entry in the online accounting software is done using SSL (Secure Socket Layer) 128 key encryption technology. Therefore, there can be no electronic eavesdropping/snooping over your documents at any stage on the internet.

Q3. I have an accounting package already running on my computer and I would like to maintain my accounts there only. How can you handle it?

A3.  CBS can host the same software on its servers for 24 hr online access by you. Alternatively, we maintain a copy of your accounts by running the same accounting software on our computer and all bookkeeping entries from scanned documents are made therein. The resulting accounts files are automatically retrieved by the client software running on your computer. So, the next day morning you have the latest state of accounts available in your computer when you open the updated accounts file.

Q4. What are the Setup Charges?

A4.  There are nominal set up charges to cover the cost of starting a new account. Scanner as well as the software for automating file exchange is loaned to you by CBS and it is returnable if you do not use our services. If you fall within our service area, a representative from CBS will install the necessary hardware and software at your premises to make your system up and ready.

Q5. I would not like to provide any access to my computer to you. Can I still use your services?

A5.  You have the option of hosting of your existing software application on the CBS servers. Further, CBS does not require any access to your computer. We just help you to automate your file retrieval and delivery processes to avoid you the hassle of forwarding and receiving the files. The 'client software' installed on your computer accesses our password protected server to deliver and pick up the files. You can configure it the way you like and can choose to upload or retrieve the files manually under your own supervision.
