How It Works

1. Documents such as expense receipts, invoices, bank Statements, credit card statements, memos etc are faxed  by the client to a dedicated fax number. They can also use  a scanner to scan and email the documents. CBS can also provide for an auto delivery facility by which 'client software' provided by CBS residing on client’s computer automatically uploads scanned images to the CBS server.

3. Agents at CBS enter data in the bookkeeping software running on an online server such as QuickBooks (www.oe.quickbooks.com). The account books are available for the client or his CPA to view anywhere, anytime. Also CBS can make offline bookkeeping entries in the backup file of accounting data provided by the client. Remote entry directly on client's computer is also possible.

4. Checks, sales invoices, statements such as A/Cs Receivables, Payables, Cash flow etc, prepared as per client’s requirements are retrieved automatically by the 'client software'. These can also be sent to the client by email.

5. Therefore, practically, the client merely faxes or scans the documents which are sent to CBS automatically and the client gets financial statements, reports, checks, sales invoices etc. on his own computer ready to print,  without the need for accessing any website.

6. In case the client requires that the account books be maintained in his own computer, agents at CBS use the same accounting software as used by the client, enter the accounts information in the backup copy provided by him The updated copy  is automatically retrieved in the client’s computer. Effectively, the updated books of accounts are available to the client on his own computer the next day.
